Photo 5: Here I am using a 10 gallon tank with a submersible heater to maintain the water temperature of 84-86° F in the dishes. Photo 6: These fry are two weeks old and fed on newly-hatched artemia (baby brine shrimp). They get fed 3 - 4 times a day, and the water is changed at each feeding with water that is the same temperature and same pH. Another benefit of using the 10 gallon tank as a water bath heater is that it is a good source for water during the water changes. more... |
